You are so ready. You want to get back into your body, but you are going to the gym once in a while. You are losing momentum. You are making all kinds of excuses and never keeping up the consistency. What? No! Stop the insanity! I wrote this newsletter just for you if you are feeling frustrated. Here are 3 things you can do today to get over the hump and begin taking action!
3 Ways to Get Over The Hump:
Plan- Plan like you are getting paid for it. You will never get back into great shape, and feeling healthy once again if you don’t have a plan. Here’s the thing… a goal without a plan is just a wish. Plan it out. Put it on your calendar. Write out the day, time and planned workout.
Let go of the timeline- Let go of your expectations of the overnight sensation. Your body will change, and for some, it could be a slower transformation. For some, it happens more quickly. It is dependent on so many things, but you will see it happen. The only people who get overnight success are pushing themselves brutally hard (to the point of being unhealthy) and depriving themselves of pretty much anything fun! That is NOT sustainable.
Consistency- Be consistent and show up. Part of being healthy is keeping the promises you make to yourself. Keep them. Keep showing up. Keep doing the workouts every day even if your body is fighting it. This is how real change is made! I’m not always motivated to workout, and sometimes the excuse monster is trying to take me down, but I still show up, and I’m always so grateful I did, and so will you!
